Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. He collaborated together with Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he came out with his second album, the chart-topping Dopamina. He also was in a duo with TINI for her hit stream single Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a home with a music program. Both his parents also played the guitar. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was young, he instructed to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. While his initial career choice was to be a veterinarian, His brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with a Cuban instructor and as a consequence of him discovering his gift as a performer changed the course of his life.
