Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. Since she was a teenager, she's been involved with the edges of both classical and pop music. She also plays with genres like hip-hop trap, and soul. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as sweet and sharp, but still with the bite of older singers. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It included songs written in collaboration with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The release date was March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
