Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. He began his career with performances in television shows such as in Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. Evans became famous for his portrayal of the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in the films of comics as well as graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America is in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019 brought him greater fame. The work he did on the Marvel series established him as one of the highest paid actors.
